Private car ownership problem

Private care ownership has grown dramatically in recent years. This has led to a rise in traffic congestion.
What could governments and individuals do to reduce congestion?

It is inherent to every human been to improve his/her life quality. We desire to buy a big house and luxury car, to test/enjoy all the pleasures of the human life. However, human cupidity cause lots of problems and troubles for the societies and countries that they live. Growing care ownership has resulted in an increase in traffic congestion. Some people believe that the solution to reduce congestion is the responsibility of the government. Other people argue that this is a common problem and the solution could be found at the level of individuals. This essay will outline possible solutions to the problem and evaluate their potential effectiveness.

In many countries governments are working hard to resolve the traffic congestion problem. For example, in Turkey there is quite developed traffic system. All international and freight transport roads are avoiding big cities and settlements in general. In big cities, main roads also bypass the city center and downtown. So, it is my belief that this system is one of the best in the world. However, they are still facing traffic jams during rush hours.

There are some other countries where this solution comes from individuals. For instance, in Lebanon there is no definite road traffic regulation and traffic lights. Car owners or individuals are adopted some rules themselves and follow them even with more respect. Thus, the traffic congestion problem found its solution at the level of individuals. However, this solution also has vulnerable parties. Car owners from abroad and local villages have no ideas about these rules. In this case, the public consensus does not effective.

To sum up, the world is changing so fast that we need to catch up with him every day. Our life became kind of adventures. We are playing, juggling and gambling or just trying to survive in this brutal world.
